FAQ

Meromei Shemesh

Rotshtein Heights is the name of the development/neighborhood where the Meromei Shemesh shul and community are based. With 1,300 residences, excellent facilities, public areas, and more. In a sense, Rotshtein Heights is like the hardware and Meromei Shemesh is the software.

Rotshtein Heights is directly connected and adjacent to Ramat Beit Shemesh Aleph, specifically the Ramat Shilo neighborhood. It’s a serene, open area with breathtaking views, and is also centrally located in Israel — easily accessible to both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

For a full picture, see the map here.

The Rotshtein Heights residents are coming from everywhere — Baltimore, Chicago, Florida, the Five Towns, the wider Tri-State Area, in addition to current Anglo Israeli residents.

From day one, there will be a commercial space that has been reserved by the builder for the purpose of exclusive use of a shul which will be used for davening and for learning. Until the community is on the ground and able to build a freestanding shul, this will be our community shul.

Throughout the Beit Shemesh area, there are medical facilities, offices, emergency centers, etc. There are plans for the near future to build a full hospital in Beit Shemesh, which is exciting news in general for Israel.
